March 2010 newsletter

This is the first newsletter for not only the new year but also for the new decade. Already spring is almost upon us and as if that isn’t sufficient ‘newness’, Murdering The Text has also moved across the border to Wales. It’s taken a couple of months but we’re unpacked now and ready to continue to solve your fundraising problems with our murder mystery scripts.

2010 has so far seen the creation of two new murder mystery scripts. The first is Death on the Wild Side (see below) which saw its first outing in March 2010. Off The Rails is due to be performed for the first time later this year. A third, as yet unnamed play is currently in the works for a Christmas performance.

Death on the Wild Side

Everything was fine at Wild Wildlife Park until that Lucy Wild took over. Well, I say everything was fine. The wildlife park was on the point of bankrupcy, the security guard was on the take and the animal expert wasn't quite whom she claimed to be. Apart from that though, it was all going swimmingly.

Purchase our newest Murdering The Text script to find out how the staff react when Colonel Wild's daughter takes over.

See photos from the first performance of Death on the Wild Side on our blog.

Amateur Dramatics Groups Available For Fundraisers

We are always on the lookout for any amateur theatre group that would like to hire out their theatrical services to perform Murdering The Text plays as fundraisers for local charities. Have a look at the section for this on our website for more details.

From all of us at Murdering The Text, have a wonderful Easter and spring. Until we meet again (in June), why not follow us on Facebook.

All the best,
Fiona
