What do you get for your money?

When you purchase a murder mystery pack from Murdering The Text, you are not only paying for a script but also several accompanying documents that complete the MTT experience.

1. Director's Notes: this explains how to organise one of our events, running order, what you may include, details of the murder and the murderer.


2. Character Histories: the backgrounds for your actors to learn so that they can not only perform in the play but also answer and ad lib during the question time.


3. Character Movements & Verdict: details of where the characters were and what they were doing in the run up to and at the time of the murder, plus details of whether or not they are guilty. These are for the eyes of each actor only. Nobody must know the identity of the murderer except for the guilty party and, perhaps, the Director.


4. Clue Material: Only available with some of our plays, these are extra hand-outs for the audience.


5. Sample Deduction Sheet: a blank form for the audience to complete with their verdict. This may be used as an example or photocopied for your own use.


6. Performance Details Form: this is for you to return to us, giving the details of your future performance for our records. We are more than happy to publicise your production free of charge on our blog.
